When Success Feels Heavier And Harder Than It Should
On the outside, life looks good. You’re driven, successful, and capable. But on the inside, it’s different.
You may be experiencing:
Overwhelm and burnout at work
Anxiety that follows you from the office into your personal life
Difficulty focusing, sleeping, or shutting your brain off
Strain in your relationships — with a partner, family, or colleagues
The lingering impact of past trauma, showing up as stress, self-doubt, or reactivity
Trying to power through on your own is not making it better and often makes it worse. You don’t have to carry it all by yourself.
You Don’t Have to Carry This Alone
Trouble focusing or shutting your brain off
Constant worry and racing thoughts
Struggling to balance career and personal life
Relationship strain with a partner or family
Feeling stuck despite trying to cope on your own
Lingering effects of past trauma that still show up today
Therapy Designed to Help You Find Clarity and Relief
Healing from trauma is complex, and varied. So is the therapeutic process.
I use a combination of evidence-based modalities tailored to your needs:
-
helps you understand how trauma has shaped your thoughts, behaviors, and emotions, and gives you tools to shift what no longer serves you.
-
focuses on how trauma lives in the body. We’ll gently explore physical responses like tension or dissociation, helping your nervous system re-regulate and feel safer.
-
supports emotional regulation and relationship repair, especially when trauma has impacted your ability to connect or trust.
-
help anchor you in the present moment. These techniques can reduce overwhelm and increase your capacity to stay with emotions without becoming consumed by them.
-
allows you to explore and reshape the story of what happened. Not to rewrite the facts, but to reclaim your voice, your strength, and your path forward.
Trauma Therapy That Yields Results
My approach is compassionate, down to earth, and direct. We’ll work together to understand things like:
“Why do I keep reacting so strongly when something small happens?”
Trauma responses can feel confusing when they don’t match the situation. Maybe you shut down during conflict, or feel panicked when someone pulls away. Therapy helps you make sense of these patterns and reconnect with your internal sense of safety.“I feel like I’m always on edge, and I don’t know how to turn it off.”
Living in a constant state of alertness is exhausting. When your nervous system stays stuck in survival mode, it’s hard to feel calm, connected, or present. In therapy, we’ll work on gently regulating your body and emotions so you can finally exhale.“I don’t talk about what happened, but it’s always there.”
You don’t need to relive every detail to heal from trauma. Still, unspoken pain can shape how you see yourself, your relationships, and your place in the world. Our work will help you process what’s lingering in the background and reclaim your story on your terms.
My Trauma Therapy
Isn’t One Size Fits All
Everyone processes trauma differently. That’s why our work together is highly individualized. We’ll go at your pace, focus on what matters most to you, and prioritize emotional safety above all else.
My approach is grounded, steady, and client-centered, meaning we collaborate every step of the way. You won’t be told how to feel or rushed through your story. Instead, we’ll create space for understanding, integration, and growth.

01.
Fill out the contact form. I personally respond to every message. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll make sure to connect you with someone who is.
02.
We’ll start with a brief phone call to get to know each other. If it feels like a good fit on both sides, we’ll find a time to schedule your first session.
03.
In our initial sessions, I’ll take the time to understand what brings you in, what you’re hoping for, and how your relationships have shaped your experience. We build a foundation for effective work together.
